We Three Kings David Nevue Sheet

"MANUEL REVILLA VILLAFUERTE." DRUMMER'S FIRST ACCORDION MAN.

One of the traumas that life gave me was, at the end of my studies, not trying to be a musician. To study secondary school in the Big Unit "Tomas Marsano" Surquillo, contest and got second place among thousands of applicants and were lucky to find a revolution in education, as they apply new concepts, which would many years later, positive results leavers what is now known as National College "Ricardo Palma".

We enter 1950, many colleagues in the primary, including the brothers Manuel and Jorge Revilla Villafuerte, children of a citizen-based cajamarquino Surquillo and wore the uniform of Sub-Officers of the Peruvian Air Force . It was with George, we feed the artistic vocation, so much so that, with Enrique Lonzoy, very good vocals, we formed "Trio Los Ponchos" and were main course in our school activities, singing boleros.

Concluding its third year and during vacations, I applied for a job in the Central Arsenal Aeronautics and gave me the surprise of finding Manuel, the elder brother. It was often used interchangeably with him at the Club or the daily commute from Surquillo to Barranco. I worked only a year because I got fired. Is another story. The reality is that, years later, a reunion would happen for 67. The Revilla, always linked to music, percussion instruments were acquired and needed an accordionist.

had good battery.
home and family dances were enlivened by way of trials. Manuel, was showcased with his class battery Jorge, was the bongoncero, drummer and all that it produced rhythm. Committed to other friend, Robert Uceda, guitarist and great voice of "Guajiro" and we started thinking seriously. The audience was dancing with us. The party is putting good and we were relentless. Something remarkable and everyone commented: "The doctors", we were abstainers to drink.

inlvidables
What memories!. Many celebrations are celebrated and put on musical taste. Manuel, asked us to "sonriƩramos." We are very serious! ... Said. We started to become artists. And dressed with "michi", the Black Bow Ties decorating "the well-starched collar of our shirts" and began to charge. My friend Manuel, the rimense surquillano, got parties "Faucett", your workplace and where we accompanied the success and acclaim of their executives and technicians.

We're not in the struggle but our friendship, that acquired during childhood, at school and in the field of music, is dormant. Surquillo still resides in my dear, on the street Carmen and accompanied by my friend Bedregal Emilia, his wife and their close Miraflores Revilla daughter Dayana Bedregal. The important thing is that we remembered the past and "MANUEL REVILLA VILLAFUERTE", the friend who encouraged me to music with his brother George, my classmate unforgettable. Thanks.
